When caterpillars are far beyond economic threshold level affecting your crop what strategy you would take to control the larvae?  A new generation molecule developed against Lepidopteron pests (largest order of insects comprising moths and butterflies.)From our experience larvae of this order, this assumes a major pest of crops not only in rice but vegetables to be controlled most frequently. We used to give our recommendations in the form of application of contact insecticides as we think about chemical method of controlling pests. .Now a new generation molecule, Flubendiamide is found to be useful in controlling larvae of many pests. This insecticide contains Green Triangle mark shows its less toxicity. From experience it is seen that the result of application becomes obvious from third day of application.
