Searching an antibiotic for application in agricultural field is cumbersome. Mr. Asari was cultivating banana for the last 20 years in leased land and finding livelihood in it. He had a problem of uprooting banana when it reaches maturity. It has no other symptoms like insects or nematodes. I inspected the plot and found this was due to bacterial infection. I suggested application of 10 gm of Bleaching powder to the plant growing to its vicinity. Absolutely it clicked and he was happy.
