DISINFECTION

Searching an antibiotic for application in agricultural field is cumbersome. Mr. Asari was cultivating banana for the last 20 years in leased land and finding livelihood in it. He had a problem of uprooting banana when it reaches maturity. It has no other symptoms like insects or nematodes. I inspected the plot and found this was due to bacterial infection. I suggested application of 10 gm of Bleaching powder to the plant growing to its vicinity. Absolutely it clicked and he was happy. Bleaching powder has germicidal properties which finds application on our wells for disinfecting the same
