BLUE

As William Henry Davis said in the poem Leisure, No time to see, in broad daylight,……………we have no time to stand and stare. It was a bright sunny day with a few clouds. But I stared the sky and thought should write on its blue colour

This is due to the scattering of light. As you know the sunlight is white in colour and which is a mixture of colours as in a rainbow. When it enters our atmosphere the blue portion of the colour in the white light get scattered in the atmosphere, which gives the blue colour to the sky in daytime. .

BLACK

Every day we are seeing vehicles running through our street from dawn to dusk, all of them having wheels and tyres. It is seen that all of tyres are of black in colour. Why it is so? As you know it is made from rubber. During the process of manufacture of tyres , carbon black is added for strength of material, which imparts black colour to the tyres.

variations

Yesterday when I met Mr.Anilkumar S.G who is a specialist in plant breeding we had serious discussion about variations. He remarked that variation is the beauty of nature and the principle of nature. I supported him. We can see people taking part in a march past are alike but closely observing different. Variation is a must. Without which evolution is not possible. How it is happening in organisms? It is by mutation, the changes affecting in the Genes, the genetic material in an organism.
